Our mission is to thoughtfully curate equestrian apparel rooted in performance, craftsmanship, and timeless style - inspired by a lifelong love of horses and the deep connection between rider and partner.
Our story
For as long as she can remember, Christa’s life has revolved around horses. Having spent many years immersed in both the Jamaican and U.S. equestrian worlds, she’s seen firsthand how the right apparel can elevate both comfort and confidence in the saddle.
Her daughter, an accomplished young rider who competes internationally from Ocala, Fla. to Jamaica and even the U.K., shares that same passion for excellence. Together, they’ve experienced how quality gear isn’t just about appearance - it’s about durability, craftsmanship, and the feeling that every stitch was made with riders comfort in mind.
Christa created Riding on Avenue to share two of her favorite brands, Maximilian and E.A.S.T., with the Canadian equestrian community. She has worn these pieces herself and can confidently attest to their exceptional fit, function, and timeless style.
At the heart of it all is Sassy, Christa’s beloved horse who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2025. Sassy wasn’t just a mount - she was a partner, a teacher, and a source of courage. This boutique is dedicated to her memory, a tribute to the love between horse and rider, and a reminder that it’s never too late to follow your dreams.

"Shopping with Christa feels completely different from walking into a store. The space is intimate and beautifully curated, and she truly understands what riders need — both in fit and performance. I left feeling confident, polished, and excited to ride. The quality of the pieces speaks for itself."
